ANGELA SIMS
Licensed Counselor
I am a licensed Mental Health Therapist with a master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University. Experienced in trauma-focused CBT, integrative and
somatic therapy, and therapeutic art techniques, my mission is to help people overcome issues of trauma, depression, and anxiety to enjoy happier and healthier lives. I help families, couples, and individuals manifest the change they are seeking using therapeutic methods tailored to the unique experiences and needs of you and your loved ones.
My experience as a therapist consists of working in private practice as well as with families and children in a community mental health setting. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent many years teaching art processes to adults and children with special needs and directing and managing other aspects of living for adults with mental health needs and neurodevelopmental disorders. I enjoy my work as a therapist and cherish the client-therapist relationship as the most crucial part of the therapy process, with the goal of creating a positive and rewarding experience for all clients served.
