TARA MOYLE
Licensed Counselor
Tara Moyle has worked primarily with teenagers and young adults for the last 15+ years. As a Licensed Associate Counselor, she holds a Master’s of Professional Mental Health Counseling. As a professor of writing and teacher in Language and Literary Arts, she assisted a wide range of
students from diverse backgrounds in the Chicago area, greater New York, and central Virginia. Other experience includes aiding high-performing yet perfectionist students, those on the autism spectrum, or students struggling to find motivation, especially during this time of chaos and change.
She is also interested in couples therapy, life transitions and development, and holistic approaches to healing. Teen and young adult relationship issues, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, cognitive distortions, and empowerment are her specialty areas. Theoretically, she remains rooted in both Narrative and Existential frameworks, as well as a strong Feminist, and social justice orientation.
